A funny thing happened as I watched Friends With Benefits

I like Justin Timberlake.

There I said it. I like him. I think he’s quite a smooth dude and he was hooking up with Britney when she was still a thing. A decade later and he’s still cool as shit.

Here’s a fun fact. JT is signed to RCA Records. What you may or may not know is that RCA is owned by Sony Music Entertainment, the second largest record label in the world.

JT is also an actor, and why not? The world is his oyster.

So recently I watched Friends With Benefits. I was lying on the sofa after a big night and wanted some drippy romcom to make me feel less shit about myself. Mila Kunis being the lead female certainly was the deciding factor. She also parades around in her underwearz which I guess I can deal with if I absolutely have to (proof at the bottom).

But something bugged me as I started watching it. It’s like I was watching The Wizard. See if you can work out why.

So yeah, that’s what I get for wanting to be down with JT and Mila. Save yourself the hassle, I present to you the best bits of the movie:

Who would have thought that a supposedly romantic comedy starring two of today’s biggest young stars can be spoiled by such in-your-face advertising. I’m appalled. What’s next, advertising in blockbusers such as Transformers?
