MF DOOM: Good news come in threes

MF DOOM. Zev Luv X. Viktor Vaughn. Madvillain. King Gheedorah. Daniel Dumile. Best rapper ever.

He generally keeps to himself. When he has news he has BIG news. This week we were treated to not one or two but three great nuggets of info.

1. The MF DOOM Dime Box is out next month.

 What is it? A 7 inch picture disc of Rhymes Like Dimes with instrumental and 150-piece puzzle. Buy it now, less than $20.

2. DOOM and Radiohead. Together at last.

Well, Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood. We all know that Yorke is a DOOM fan, having played some Madvillain stuff at Low End Theory and the like. 3D World broke the news earlier this year that they are working together. And here it is; Retarded Fren.

Weekly News Breakdown: 31st October 2011

Halloween and I’m stuck indoors about to watch Dexter! If I had to wander the streets tonight I’m sure I’ll see enough slutty nurses, slutty sailors and slutty school teachers to last me till Ramadan. So be it.

Even though it’s still October Christmas is being advertised and the one true winner in all of this is baby Jesus. Christmas songs isn’t just for Mariah Carey / Bieber duets anymore, the cool kids are getting into it too.

She and Him have released a Christmas album and Scott Weiland and Marilyn Manson are about to as well. Bless the season.

A funny thing happened as I watched Friends With Benefits

I like Justin Timberlake.

There I said it. I like him. I think he’s quite a smooth dude and he was hooking up with Britney when she was still a thing. A decade later and he’s still cool as shit.
